Israel and the Holy Land
A 10-day evangelical tour through Israel and the Holy Land visiting the most important biblical locations of the Old and New Testament. Experience places such as the Sea of Galilee, Jericho, the Dead Sea, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem.
Our journey begins along the Mediterranean coast with a visit to Caesarea, the impressive Roman harbor city where Pontius Pilate once governed. Here we explore the ancient theater, archaeological remains, and the famous inscription of Pontius Pilate.
We then continue to Mount Carmel, the site where the prophet Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18). Later we stop at Mount Precipice near Nazareth, offering a stunning panoramic view of the Jezreel Valley and a powerful connection to the life of Jesus.
Today we explore the beautiful region surrounding the Sea of Galilee, where much of Jesus’ ministry took place. We visit Capernaum, often called Jesus’ “home base,” and explore several important churches around the lake.
The day includes a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee, creating a peaceful moment for reflection and worship. We also stop at Yardenit, a well-known baptism site on the Jordan River. Lunch features the famous St. Peter’s fish, a traditional local dish.
Today we travel to the scenic Golan Heights, a region rich in biblical history. Our first stop is Tel Dan, once the center of the northern tribes of Israel.
We then visit Banias (Caesarea Philippi), where Jesus spoke about the “gates of hell” and Peter declared Jesus as the Messiah. The journey continues to Hazor, one of the fortified cities built by King Solomon. Lunch is enjoyed with local communities in the north, often hosted by Druze families or northern nomads, offering a unique cultural experience.
Today we visit the Jordan River baptism site (Qasr el Yahud), traditionally recognized as the place where Jesus was baptized and where the Israelites crossed into the Promised Land with Joshua.
We then continue to Jericho, considered one of the oldest cities in the world, where we see the Mount of Temptation. After a special lunch in Jericho, the day concludes with time at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, where visitors can experience floating in its mineral-rich waters.
The day begins with a visit to Masada, the dramatic desert fortress where Jewish rebels made their final stand against the Romans.
We continue to Ein Gedi, a lush oasis in the desert connected to the story of David fleeing from King Saul and referenced in the Song of Songs. The day ends at Qumran, where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered—one of the most important archaeological finds confirming the historical accuracy of biblical texts.
oday we travel to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. Here we visit the historic Church of the Nativity and the nearby Shepherds’ Fields, where angels announced the birth of Christ.
After lunch in Bethlehem, we continue to Jerusalem and begin exploring the ancient City of David, where the foundations of biblical Jerusalem were first established.
The final days of the journey are dedicated to exploring Jerusalem, one of the most important spiritual cities in the world.
Highlights include the breathtaking view from the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, and Mount Zion, where the Last Supper took place. We also visit the House of Caiaphas, the Pools of Bethesda, and the Pool of Siloam, along with the ancient Southern Steps of the Temple Mount.
Participants will walk through the Western Wall area and its underground tunnels, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and reflect at the Garden Tomb. The journey concludes with a visit to the Israel Museum, home of the famous Dead Sea Scrolls.
